A boy (13) died after a hand grenade exploded at Luliba village in the Zambezi region on Friday.
He has been identified as Yamuno Mulatehi.
His next of kin have been informed of his death.

The Namibian on Saturday.
He said the explosion occurred between 17h00 and 18h00.
He said the boy’s father, Kashako Mulatehi (34), allegedly collected the hand grenade and other spent cartridges from the bushes around the Mpacha/Liselo areas and brought them home.
“Upon arrival, he started hitting the hand grenade with the head of a traditonal axe and in the process, it exploded.
“He was with his three children when the explosion happened, which resulted in the instant death of the deceased. The father, his nine-year-old daughter and four-year-old boy sustained serious injuries. They are all in critical condition and have been admitted to the Katima Mulilo District Hospital. “Police investigations continue,” he said.
