Boys allegedly rape six-year-old at Ondobe

A girl (6) was allegedly raped by two boys, aged 15 and 11, at Uukango village in the Ohangwena region.

National police spokesperson deputy commissioner Kauna Shikwambi says the incident took place earlier this year, but was only recently discovered.

“It’s alleged that the suspects in two separate incidents found the victim walking home from school, and on both occasions forced sexual intercourse with her,” she says.

Shikwambi says the suspects and their guardians were yesterday at the Ohangwena Police Station notified to appear in court.
Police investigations continue.

In a separate incident, a woman (44) was allegedly raped on Saturday by her ex-boyfriend (42) at Groendoring in the Hardap region.

Shikwambi says the suspect is the father of two of the victim’s children, and was offered accommodation by the victim.

He later demanded to have sex with the victim, but she refused.

Shikwambi says the suspect is yet to be arrested, and a medical examination report is pending.
