Bushiri court case postponed to Wednesday

THE court case against controversial Enlightened Christian Gathering (ECG) church leader Shepherd Bushiri and his wife Mary has been postponed to Wednesday.

Bushiri, along with his wife, appeared in the Commercials Crimes Court in Pretoria, South Africa today after their arrest on Friday.

The ECG church leader is facing charges relating to money laundering and fraud.The South African Broadcasting Corporation reported today that the court granted the postponement to allow defence lawyers to prepare for a bail application.
