The annual Rough and Tough Rally For Cancer raised mora than N$1,5 million over the past weekend
The rally, which aimed to bring car lovers and enthusiasts form all over Namibia together, took place from 16 to 19 May.
According to Cancer Association Namibia (CAN) chief executive Rolf Hansen, the funds will be used in CAN’s mission to decentralise critical health care to support the Ministry of Health and Social Services, to establish cancer clinics around the country and to expand Palliative Care Namibia.
Hansen says the event saw 430 participants, with more than 133 vintage cars, to raise funds for cancer.
