The second installment of ‘Captain Kalola’ has been leaked on YouTube, much to the surprise of Omalaeti Productions founder John Walenga.
The action-comedy film was produced by Omalaeti Films, in collaboration with Basement Films Productions.
It features prominent Namibian musicians Sunny Boy, Tate Buti, PDK and TopCheri.
unWrap.online can confirm that the full film has been available on YouTube since 5 October.
The video has garnered over 9 000 views and over 500 likes since it was uploaded.
When contacted, Walenga expressed concern about the unauthorised upload. “Did you watch the entire film, or are you referring to the trailer? If it’s the full movie, I am not aware of it,” he says.
Walenga says he is not responsible for the film’s release on YouTube.
The film also features appearances by Monica Morocky, Glo and other notable figures in the Namibian entertainment industry.
