Central procurement board appoints new board members

The Central Procurement Board of Namibia (CPBN) on its Facebook page recently announced the appointment and re-appointment of its board of directors effective 1 March.

“We congratulate all the board members and wish them success in their roles,” reads the post.

Mary Shiimi has been appointed as chairperson of the board of directors.

She is deputised by Brain Katjaerua who has experience in the banking industry.

The board members also include Abrie Collard, Simon Shivute, Immanuel Kadhila, Julinda !Garus-Oas and Paulus Tshiningayamwe.

The CPBN oversees Namibia’s procurement system, ensuring compliance with regulations and promoting fair competition in government.
