RESPONSE to the distorted information as reported in your newspaper ‘Demo at Windhoek Central Hospital’.
As Chief Matron I hereby register my dissatisfaction in reference to you newspaper article “Demo at Windhoek Central Hospital” dated 22 June 2004. Medical, Paramedical, Nursing and Administration Support Services are extremely surprised about this article.Routinely staff receive overtime cheques for work done on Sundays/Public Holidays and normal overtime every second Monday morning. This time the cheques came late on Monday afternoon, thus the reason for people (staff members) to assemble in a queue as usual.Albeus Mbuche Maswahu Chief MatronMedical, Paramedical, Nursing and Administration Support Services are extremely surprised about this article.Routinely staff receive overtime cheques for work done on Sundays/Public Holidays and normal overtime every second Monday morning. This time the cheques came late on Monday afternoon, thus the reason for people (staff members) to assemble in a queue as usual.Albeus Mbuche Maswahu Chief Matron
