NAMIBIAN sprinter Christie van Wyk expressed his gratitude towards the Namibian people and fans who constantly send him e-mails of encouragement.
Van Wyk is due to step into the blocks in the 100 meter heats of the Olympic Games in Athens, Greece on Saturday.
