Climb aboard RDP express: Hamutenya

RDP interim President Hidipo Hamutenya on Saturday accused Swapo of disastrously failing Namibia’s youth for 18 years, and vowed that his party will reverse and correct Swapo’s mistakes within one year if voted into power.

“RDP will correct all the mistakes in one year, they are asking how we are going to do it. We won’t tell them, but we will show them when the time comes,” said Hamutenya.Addressing an RDP youth meeting in Windhoek, Hamutenya urged the youth to prepare for next year’s election by going into districts and communities and mobilising the RDP movement. He warned the youth to be wary of provocation at the hands of the Swapo, who might want to divert them from their political affiliation.” Namibia does not belong to Swapo, you the youth should claim ownership of this country,” said Hamutenya.Hamutenya also cited unsatisfactory services by the national broadcaster NBC, who he said was unfair and was controlled by Swapo.”NBC has become a tool of Swapo, we as taxpaying citizens have the right to be covered when we hold our rallies. But no they only cover Swapo rallies, why,” he lashed out.We won’t tell them, but we will show them when the time comes,” said Hamutenya.Addressing an RDP youth meeting in Windhoek, Hamutenya urged the youth to prepare for next year’s election by going into districts and communities and mobilising the RDP movement. But no they only cover Swapo rallies, why,” he lashed out.
