ONE of the most famous and highest dunes on the central coast, Dune 7 near Walvis Bay, was a hive of activity this morning.
People, looking like ants in comparison to its size, dared the dune to the reach top.
Some people took the easier but longer way along its spine, while most scaled straight up the much steeper face.
It is not just the beach where people enjoy, but Walvis Bay and Swakopmund also have the Namib desert dunes as holiday pleasure.
There is also a picnic spot at the foot of this dune where hundreds of people enjoy family day with friends and family.
