Desmond D’Emiljo and Lukas Kotze will represent Namibia at the Windhoek Lager International Pairs finals in Portugal, after winning the Namibian qualifying golf event over the weekend.
Competing at the Windhoek Golf and Country Club, the pair won the Namibian leg of the international competition with a total of 89 points, to finish two shots ahead of Dewald Coetzee and Raymond van Zyl, while Mario Polster and Jivino Polster came third on 85 points.
Dries Coetzee and Antonie van Wyk finished fourth on 84 points, while Fergusson Paulse and Milton Eiseb finished fifth on 80 points after beating Dmitri Renton and Dietrich Schrywer on a count-out.
A total of 30 pairs participated in the competition.
The international final will be held in Portugal in November.
