DStV cuts prices to honour independence

DSTV Namibia, in honour of celebrating 35 years of independence, are offering a special promotion effective Monday, 17 March.

MultiChoice Namibia managing director Roger Gertze says new subscribers can purchase a Zappa decoder and a one-month subscription of Compact for only N$635, while an Explora decoder inclusive of a one-month Premium subscription will be N$2 035.

He says the promotion is only available at branches in Windhoek, Swakopmund and Ongwediva or until stocks last, and is valid until 31 March.

“March marks a historic moment for Namibia, marking the inauguration of the first-ever woman president and the celebration of 35 years of independence. In honour of these huge milestones, DStv Namibia is offering a special promotion,” Gertze says.

Viewer Edwin David says the cut is needed as the country’s unemployment rate is high and many people are struggling to get by.

“Things in life are very expensive so the cut will help us to better our lives at home,” David says.
