Electoral Commission of Namibia (ECN) chairperson Elsie Nghikembua says although the commission has been receiving criticism in the last couple of days, lessons have been drawn from the experience.
She was speaking during a media conference on Monday night, after announcing the latest results from the 2024 presidential and National Assembly elections.
By late Monday night, counting was completed in 80 constituencies for the presidential elections and 81 constituencies for the National Assembly elections.
“Criticism will always be there. You take it as it comes, and you just proceed. There are, of course, some lessons that we take from it.
That is just the way to do it, and you then focus on the work that needs to be done,” Nghikembua said.
