Eenhana expo kicks off

DEPUTY prime minister Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah will be the keynote speaker at the official opening of the week-long Eenhana business exposition which kicks off this morning with about 210 local and international exhibitors.

The official opening of the expo will take place on Wednesday.

According to Eenhana town council spokesperson Paullo Shilongo, other highlights of the 10th edition of the expo will be a presentation by Agribank tomorrow, and presentations by the National Housing Enterprise tomorrow and on Thursday. The exhibitors’ awards ceremony will be on Friday evening, while the Okapuka-Eenhana sports tournament will be on Saturday.

Entertainment includes Miss Eenhana Expo, and performances by top Namibian artists such as Tate Buti, Young T, The Dogg, Nakale ya Nakale and Kinzo.

Entrance will be N$20 for adults, N$10 for children and N$10 for vehicles.

Preparations for other expositions at Ongwediva and Outapi at the end of August are underway. Both town councils hosted gala dinners last weekend.
