This Weekend
Pastor Robert Clancy from Australia will be in Namibia from tomorrow to Sunday for the Repentance Revival Movement International’s ‘Commanding The Supernatural’ event at Hilton Hotel in Windhoek. The first two days begin at 17h00, while the Sunday service is from 10h00.
Eagles Beer Garden in Windhoek is hosting ‘Tabula Rasa Chapter II’, an electronic dance music experience on Saturday featuring 13 DJs. Doors open from 10h00 and tickets cost N$100. There will be a cash bar and swimming available.
Lotus Zen Den is hosting the 2025 Vision Board Workshop on Sunday at their studio. There you can create your own plan for the months to come. For N$400, materials and refreshments will be provided. The event will run from 14h30 to 17h30.
Next Week
Philosophy and poetry are coming to Vinyls Cafe, hosted by orator Emmanuel Enkara. Immerse yourself in deep conversations and poetic brilliance, blending thought provoking ideas with the art of words, video content and group perspectives on Monday, 3 February from 18h30. The topic of discussion will be ‘Digital Love – Can technology replace human connection?’ Entry is N$30.
On Saturday next week is the ‘Glow Up: Visualise Your Potential’ vision board session with Hannah Nangula, Farmbae and Liz as speakers. Tickets are N$450, which includes the materials to be used, a light meal, drinks and entertainment from 11h30 at 25 Roegenten Street, Windhoek West.

The Speakeasy at Liliencron Street is hosting ladies’ night every Wednesday, with 50% off all cocktails and meal options available.
The Forever Dance Academy is hosting kizomba and semba dance lessons every Monday and Wednesday at 12 Hugel Street in Windhoek. Beginners will practice between 18h30 and 19h30, while intermediate and advanced dancers have the 19h30 to 20h30 slot for both days. One drop-in lesson will cost N$100, while packages of eight lessons range between N$600 and N$700, for individuals and couples, respectively.
Every week you can head over to Stick&Whistle for their Chillfakta Sundays featuring various live DJs. On 9 February, catch the likes of KFC DJs, Cellos Deep, DJ Ambizzy, DJ Fantasy and DJ Desertstorm on the decks.

Nicole Dreyer is hosting a self-love and empowerment workshop at The Village Garden on Sunday, 15 February, and it’s all about understanding self-love, empowering yourself so you can empower others, building a positive self-image and developing practical self-care habits. The N$500 ticket includes one drink.
The ‘Queen of Speech’ Josy Nghipandua is hosting public speaking and presentation training for corporate employees in Windhoek on 1 March, at Walvis Bay on 15 March and at Ongwediva on 22 March. Tickets range between N$1 250 and N$1 550 for lessons on nerve control and stage fright, speech writing and presentation prep, self-confidence/esteem, interview skills and presentation skills. Stationery, manuals as well as lunch and refreshments will be provided.
