Exit launches The Sofa

Pinehas Nakaziko

KWAITO star Exit will launch his television reality show titled, The Sofa on Youtube to deal with mental health issues.

It will air Wednesday between half-past six and seven o’clock.

He says the concept is pinned on two people discussing topical issues affecting people worldwide.

The project was designed for so many reasons, but the number one reason is to challenge the fact that the biggest life challenges are being neglected and ignored in Namibia, says Exit.

He adds The whole concept of the project (The Sofa) is depression, in psychology, a mood or emotional state that is marked by feelings of low self-worth, esteem or guilt and a reduced ability to enjoy life.

Exits said his show will also engage well-known Namibians and professionals to assist viewers in understanding issues of mental health.

This initiative is meant to save that life that we were going to lose every week. The Show will be jolly, as we are going to put a smile on people’s faces, said Exit.

The first episode of the series is expected to premiere on the 25 of May on the YouTube Channel ROCKAZ TV.

We advise everyone to subscribe today. We will also be feeding you more information on a huge social media following! Which will also be used as a platform to motivate and encourage my wonderful people to live another day, he said.

He added that We have Racio Media Group dealing with matters such as visual, photography and editing related, and Rough Beatz handling audio quality and sound-related agendas. It will be massive.

He said the show would have 10 episodes.

We will take a production break after season one depending on the impact on people’s lives, the demand, response, and the support. After that then will quickly tap into season two.

I don’t think there is an end to problems or factors that contribute to depression so we will have the project running to create a great platform that is driven to helping the Namibian nation and the world at large in learning ways of combating depression and also hearing from real-life moments people have gone through to overcoming depression as we will feature people that have gone through it all, Exit said.
