FORMER Miss Namibia title holder Marichen Luiperdt is one of more than a dozen local beauties who made the cut for the Face of The Grove Mall’s recent competition.
The competition, aimed at finding local belles and beaus to include in the mall’s marketing campaigns, ran from 20 August to 20 September and was open to members of the public.
“The aim of the competition was to build a relationship with local shoppers – to make them feel at home in the mall as well as to create an avenue for making use of local talent,” a mall representative said.
Other winners of the Face of The Grove Mall Namibia 2015 are Susan van Zyl, Wellem Kapenda, Herman Oosthuizen, Bicky Vilho, Lavinia M Festus, Geraldo Bock, Jared Kamble, Lizaan Momberg, Anifa Alberts, Nalitye Shaninga, Clarise van der Vyver, Hermanus van der Merwe, Rabekah Brielle Strauss, Danielle Mouton, Theo Kamati, Elzaan van Wyk, Rachel Frankle, Jorina Smit and Jané Marias.
On the judging panel for selecting the winners were Miss Namibia National Director Conny Maritz, fashion designer Cobus Möller, Big Brother Africa winner Dillish Mathews and former beauty queen Leefa Shiikwa.
The 20 winners took part in a photo shoot to create new images for The Grove Mall of Namibia’s 2015/2016 marketing campaigns. These images will be used for all the mall’s marketing campaigns, from street pole advertising and local print advertisements to the centre’s website, Facebook page and other digital media.
Cotton On and Mica Beauty – both tenants at The Grove Mall of Namibia – assisted with hair, make-up and outfits for the photo shoots.
