Falling Out

Friends are easy to love and simply enjoyable to be around. But occasionally in life, you will come across that one friend who doesn’t tickle your fancy as much.

As much as we do not like to admit it, friends can backstab you as they spread stories about you or divulge secrets that no one else is supposed to know. And this can lead to a nasty falling out.

There are many celebrity feuds out there including 2Pac and Biggie, Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears, Zayn Malik and One Direction, and the list goes on.

The Weekender asked a few people what their bad experiences with friends included.

Anna Matthews said her falling out was personal. “A friend was being fake and sh*t.” And everyone knows that fake friends do not belong in your inner circle.

For Lauren Ndapandula, however, it was something that involved a couple of documents. “She broke my ID and called me obsessed.” Although she didn’t elaborate much on the issue, that must have been quite a terrible experience.

But some people are cruising through life, actually. “I’ve had no bad experiences,” Ndahafa Jeremia said.

And that’s what good friendships are all about. However, for the not-so-lucky ones, is forgiveness perhaps the key?
