“The case was reported by a 59-year-old female victim. The stock theft investigation sub-division embarked on an intelligence-led operation and recovered six carcasses of goats, some of which were cut into pieces. The first recovery was on Saturday, while the second recovery was on Sunday. The vehicle that was used by the suspects was impounded by the police,” she said.

The suspects, Dino Uirab (27), Moses Uirab (57), Lucky Uirab (34), Brandon Geingob (21) and Helmuth Kheib (41) appeared before the Usakos Magistrates Court on Tuesday.

Their case was postponed to 7 May, while they remain in police custody.
