Five new Warriors to start against Zambia

TIGERS left-back Benyamin Nenkavu leads a group of five players who will take their place in the Brave Warriors Cosafa derby against Zambia in Casablanca tonight at 21h00 Namibian time, to decide who finishes top of the 2018 Africa Nations Championship (Chan) Group B at the Mohammed V Stadium.

Coach Ricardo Mannetti has made five changes to the starting line-up and brings in Benyamin Nenkavu, who passed a late fitness test to make the Chan finals team and will start at left back while Vitapi Ngaruka will continue at right back after a stellar performance against Uganda on his debut last time out.

In central defence, Emilio Martin of Black Africa and Tiberius Lombard of Tura Magic will make their championship debut and take charge in front of Namibia’s number one goalkeeper Loydt Kazapua.

Absalom Iimbondi will make his third appearance at right wing tonight and so will captain Ronald Ketjijere and Dynamo Fredericks in the engine room while Itamunua Keimuine will start on the left of midfield.

Theophilus Junias will be joined by Panduleni Nekundi in attack as Namibia looks to win and move back to their base in Marrakesh to face Sudan in the second quarterfinal on Saturday, 27 January.

If they draw or lose they will face Morocco at the Mohammed V Stadium in Casablanca.
