Former Oshana governor dies

The first governor of the Oshana region, Sylvanus Vatuva, has died.

According to his cousin Vinia Ndadi, Vatuva died on Tuesday at the Ongwediva Medipark private hospital. He was 87 years old.

Oshana governor Elia Irimari said Vatuva was a hard-working and open-minded person.

Vatuva served as Oshana regional governor between 1992 and 1998.
