Former unionist up on drunken driving

FORMER General Secretary of the National Union for Namibian Workers Risto Kapenda (48) was arrested over the weekend on a charge of drunken driving and refusing to submit to a breathalyser test.

According to Police sources in Swakopmund, the incident took place on Saturday – “after the rugby” – on the road between Walvis Bay and Swakopmund.
