Fysal Fresh Produce win award in Paris

FYSAL Fresh Produce Namibia has been awarded the Best International Europe Award for Quality in recognition of its commitment to the quality of business management by the Global Trader’s Club based in Spain.

The awards ceremony took place in Paris on 24 October.

Fysal Fresh Produce is one of the biggest fresh produce retail chains based in northern Namibia, and has been spreading its wings to southern Angola.

The company has been operational for over 35 years, and is owned by entrepreneur Fysal Brenner. The entity has large wholesale outlets at Oshakati, Ondangwa, Oshikango and Angola.

Owing to its strength, Fysal has competed immensely with bigger South African companies, Brenner noted.

The International Europe Award for Quality was created to honour companies who pay special attention to the constant improvement of quality and contribute to the upliftment and development of the country.

The event was attended by Nangula Frieda Iithete, Namibian ambassador to France, Fysal Brenner and Tomas Koneka Iindji, NCCI northern branch chairperson.
