Liberty Life Namibia has announced that Garth Petersen will be stepping into the role of managing director as of 1 April.

Petersen was previously the financial service provider’s head of sales, distribution, and marketing.
“Having been an integral part of the organisation’s journey, Mr Petersen brings a wealth of experience, dedication, and a clear vision for the future,” the company notes.

“His leadership in financial planning, wealth management, and the broader financial and capital markets industry made him an ideal candidate to take Liberty Life to its next chapter.”

Liberty Life highlights Petersen’s commitment to professional growth evidenced by his current preparation for his certified financial planner board exam, in addition to the postgraduate qualifications he already achieved.

Petersen is also an active member of his community, serving as board member and treasurer for the Cancer Association of Namibia and St George’s Diocesan School.
