GWM Cuts Pricing Across Range

In little more than seven years, GWM has gained an incredible foothold in the Southern African market. Recently, the company achieved its 50 000th sale in South Africa, with Namibia’s tally running at over 3 400 vehicles sold.

This is an important milestone in the evolution of the brand in this country as it shows that GWM has taken root and must now be regarded as a serious player.

“We are extremely grateful for the trust that our customers have shown in us,” says GWM South Africa CEO, Tony Pinfold. “In fact, the public has welcomed this brand in a way that must have taken some established players by surprise. We believe our growth has been made possible by GWM quickly establishing a reputation for selling quality, high-value products,” Pinfold explains.

Affordability is Key

“The entire GWM range of vehicles will always be seen as ‘the best value for money’ vehicle in the market,” said Uwe Keller, dealer principle for Pupkewitz GWM.

“This is now underlined by the optional service plans and the five year 100 000km warranty on most vehicles and the new ‘look and feel’ of the newer models that have been launched so far this year and that we will see through on more models in future.”

“The rand / dollar exchange rate has taken its toll and GWM was forced to make adjustments. Super Group, a listed company, is now a partner in GWM SA and its financial strength and international trading ability will be felt throughout the company,” Kessler continued.

This has now enabled GWM to make the bold and possibly unprecedented decision to reduce retail pricing across its entire model line-up.

“Vehicle pricing across the board have been reduced and service plans are now optional on all vehicles. Making GWM the first choice for an affordable tailor made package,” said Kessler.

“This price reduction places our high quality, new vehicles within the financial reach of a much bigger audience. As a brand that has built itself on the foundation of offering great value for money, this is what we believe the consumer expects from us,” Pinfold concludes.

The new pricing is effective at all GWM dealerships, so make sure to pop in and check out your next potential buy.
