Hanse-Himarwa leaves legacy of love – husband

The husband of the late Katrina Hanse-Himarwa says the former education minister has left behind a legacy of love, kindness and cherished memories.

Ghenno Himarwa said this on Sunday after news broke that the former Swapo stalwart, who had been sick for some time, died.

“It is with a heavy heart that I share the sorrowful news of the passing of my beloved wife, Katrina Hanse-Himarwa. She departed from this world peacefully on 14 July 2024 at 05h15, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories we will hold dear forever.

“Her unwavering strength, compassion, and the joy she brought us will forever be remembered. During this difficult time, I ask for your thoughts and prayers as we navigate through this profound loss together with deepest sympathy and love,” he said.
