In a bold move, the House of Poulton brand is set to showcase its latest winter collection at Drag Night Namibia’s Monochrome Met show on 6 May at The Loft.

It promises to be a night filled with creativity, self-expression and inclusivity.

Melisa Poulton of House of Poulton, says: “I am thrilled to join forces with Drag Night Namibia for this one-of-a-kind fashion showcase. Drag queens are known for their fierce and daring fashion choices, and it’s the perfect platform to debut my new winter collection.

“As a brand that embraces diversity and inclusivity, I am proud to support the LGBTQI+ community and use fashion as a form of self-expression.”

Drag Night Namibia also shared their enthusiasm on the collaboration.

Co-founder and organiser Lola LeCroix says: “We are beyond excited to have Melisa Poulton’s winter collection as part of our Monochrome Met show. Drag is all about pushing boundaries and embracing individuality, and Poulton’s bold designs perfectly align with our vision of celebrating self-expression.”

The Monochrome Met show will feature a black-and-white theme, perfectly complementing Poulton’s bold and innovative designs.

Attendees can expect to be mesmerised by the stunning performances of Namibia’s top drag queens, while also getting a first look at Poulton’s latest collection, which includes ready-to-wear pieces in different sizes, as well as signature dresses featuring the House of Poulton’s zebra print.

The collaboration is breaking barriers in the fashion industry, bringing together two realms of creativity for a night that promises to be unforgettable.

It’s a celebration of diversity, self-expression and the power of fashion to make a statement.

“Don’t miss out on this fashionably fierce event that’s sure to make headlines and captivate the audience with its unique blend of fashion and drag,” says DJ Rise Elders, who will be spinning tunes at the Monochrome Met show.

“It’s going to be a night to remember, filled with jaw-dropping fashion and electrifying performances. Get ready to be blown away!”
