Indongo Toyota Ongwediva sales manager Asheel Ramjit says they pride themselves on giving exceptional customer service.

“We try to move away from the norm and try to walk that extra mile for our clients. We do not just do the deal for the sake of doing the deal, we want to build long-term customer relationships,” Ramjit says.

The Indongo Toyota branch offers almost all Toyota models.

“We serve the entire northern areas, as far as Katima in the Zambezi region, and if needed, we will deliver to the entire Namibia, Ramjit says.

Each department, from sales, services, to spare parts, and even finance and insurance, has its own managers that are specialists in their field.

“We offer the full package to our clients. We sell the vehicles here, we service the vehicles, we can even repair the vehicles, regardless if they are still under or out of warranty. We fit genuine Toyota parts, even wheel alignments. Even the service of Hino trucks can be done here,” Ramjit says.

“Though we do not see Hino trucks yet, there are plans underway to bring the trucks to Ongwediva. When it comes to servicing clients’ vehicles in the region, there are enough service advisers on the premises, ensuring bookings and services are speedy.”

Ramjit told Top Revs that some customers drive from remote areas to line up long before daybreak, ensuring their cars are on time for a service.

He says staff members are all involved in the ‘Indongo Care’ campaign, and reach out through various campaigns to the different communities.

Branch service manager Sepi Mate advises clients to make use of an accredited Toyota service and workshop to ensure their service plan and warranty remain as per the contract.

“There is a clause that shows customer abuse (or negligence), so I, as a service manager, look at the matter whenever it is a customer abuse or a factory default and I investigate this thing. If it is a factory default, obviously Toyota covers it, and when we find customer abuse, I speak to the client about why it was abuse,” Mate says.

Branch parts manager Daryl Samuels adds his voice to Mate’s when asked about the importance of buying and fitting genuine Toyota parts.

“To be honest, genuine parts go hand in hand with the vehicle’s make and (manufacturer) specifications, so if you want your vehicle to last, I advise you to fit genuine parts,” Sameuls emphasises.
