Inmates at various Namibian Correctional Service (NCS) facilities across the country were able to watch president Hage Geingob’s funeral proceedings on Sunday.
NCS spokesperson Sam Shalulange on Sunday said inmates have access to televisions in their living units, depending on their security classification, and were following the events.
“The minimum and low medium have access in their cells, while the medium and maximum have access at some intervals only,” he said.
