Investment board bars media from panel discussion

The Namibian Investment Promotion and Development Board on Friday morning barred the media from a panel discussion where ministers and high-profile officials were to address an 11-member investment and trade delegation from India.

The board invited the media to cover its consultative engagement session between India and Namibia delegations and senior representatives from various public sector entities.

Those included are: the director of energy in the Ministry of Mines and Energy, John Titus; executive director of the finance ministry Titus Ndove; health minister Kalumbi Shangula; higher education minister Itah Kandji-Murangi; agriculture deputy minister Anna Shiweda; deputy governor of the Bank of Namibia Leonie Dunn and trade deputy executive director Ndiitah Nghipondoka-Robiati.
