Is Affirmative Action Working?

I WAS watching the panel discussion on Affirmative Action on Monday the 19th of November 2007.

I am glad the NBC targets such key issues, such as this one, which is important in our life. However key topics like this should be approached more aggressively in order to establish the following; 1.The compilation of the panel was not duly, and fully represented e.g, where was the Minister of Labour, or his representative? 2.Why was no tangible evidence submitted of companies that were investigated, charged, found guilty and convicted? 3.Why did the Office of the Equity Commissioner never assure that all companies are visited, spot checks and inspections done? 4.Does Mr Usiku have trained, skilled, experienced and impartial investigators who can do the job? 5.Is there any proof that the “previously disadvantaged” have ever benefited since this law was introduced?
