MOURNERS on Monday gathered at Katima Mulilo sports complex to pay their last respects to the late Katima Mulilo urban constituency councillor and member of parliament, John Muchila Mukaya.
Mukaya (48) died in a car accident on 26 May in the Mpyu area of Zambezi region.
He was granted a state funeral by President Hage Geingob, who said the late Mukaya would be remembered for his people-centred political leadership and for his contribution to the liberation movement.
Mukaya will be buried tomorrow at Silumbi village in the Katima Mulilo rural constituency of Zambezi region.
