The highly anticipated 70km Walk4Education event, led by Namibian music icon King Tee Dee, has been postponed.
Originally set to take place on 20 and 21 September, the walk was meant to start in Okahandja and end in Windhoek.
According to a statement from Mshasho, the organising entity, the postponement is due to unforeseen circumstances that prevent the event from going ahead as scheduled.
The event will be rescheduled, with a new date to be announced soon.
King Tee Dee expressed his understanding of the disappointment this news may bring to supporters but emphasised that the goal remains unchanged.
“We are dedicated to raising the necessary funds to make a real impact and help Namibian kids get the education they deserve,” he says.
The event, aimed at raising funds for education, is part of King Tee Dee’s ongoing efforts to ensure children in Namibia have access to dignified learning conditions.
“We rely on your support, and we want to make sure every aspect of the event meets the high standards we all expect,” he says.
Further details, including the new date, will be shared through the media and Mshasho’s social media channels.
