Westside coach, Engelhard Ugam had the following to say: ‘’We are very excited about our victory. In the past we didn’t perform so well thus in preparation for this year’s FNB Classic Clashes match we had a different approach. We derived upon the strategy of mixing up young players with more experienced players in our team, and this accompanied with stronger preparation turned out to be our winning recipe,” he said.

“The valued support from our peers tremendously motivated the boys to play well and elevated our team spirit. I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude towards FNB for really investing in our youth and the different school sport codes. Through their support they are encouraging learners to excel in sport which has a lasting positive influence on our young generation,” he added.
