Landless People’s Movement leader Bernadus Swartbooi announced his party’s candidates for the National Assembly election on Monday afternoon.
Swartbooi addressed the media at the LPM’s head office in Windhoek, after the party concluded its elective convention over the past weekend.
Swartbooi tops the list of LPM candidates, with the party’s treasurer general, Aina Kodi, and operative secretary David Eigub following him.
LPM chief whip Utaara Mootu is in the fourth spot on the list of candidates, with deputy operative secretary Eneas Emvula placing fifth and youth leader Duminga Ndala in sixth place.
The LPM has occupied four seats in the National Assembly since March 2020.
