I WANT to tell the people of Namibia how I feel.I am 13-year old girl.
I go to school in Grade 8. My school is in a rural area.We do not have enough books, chairs, classrooms, electricity and other things like pens, chalk etc.I am learning very hard to pass and become a doctor for the hospitals in Namibia. After school, I always go home to do my homework and also play sometimes.I like to read books, magazines, newspapers and listen to the radio and look at the TV.In the newspapers, radio and TV, there are many stories about Namibian money that is lost. There are stories about N$30 million, and N$3 million, and N$100 million, and N$650 million, and N$2 million and many, many others. My friend, who passed Grade 12 in 2003 at Uukule Senior Secondary School, told me that she has no money to go to study at the University of Namibia or Polytechnic of Namibia.I want to cry because I will be next.Where is the money to study? My grandmother receives N$300 every month and that is not enough.I am praying to God for the people who steal to bring that money back.We want to study to be leaders who do not steal. The President of Namibia is saying that he wants that money back and me too.The Ministers must control the money.Anon OndangwaMy school is in a rural area.We do not have enough books, chairs, classrooms, electricity and other things like pens, chalk etc.I am learning very hard to pass and become a doctor for the hospitals in Namibia.
