Locosounds drops new project

THE big day has finally arrived for Locosounds fans as the ‘Countertenor of Sirius’, has finally been released, and judging from the reactions of fans on social media, the group did not disappoint.

The album features the likes of the Blank, Nessy Shapama, Neslow, Top Cheri, and Wampie-G, who are all major hitters in local music circles.

Certainly, the team behind the new project have been in the entertainment sector for a long time and this has solidified their position. Various producers contributed to the album, including Philz-K loco sounds, M-Jay, Andrew on the Beat, and Momento.

The title of this new album means ‘The Voice of a Shining Star’ and Drawer, aka Ya M’kwamani, explains that it is a celebration of both the alto and tenor voices.

According M’Kwamani, the 19-track album is in remembrance of all the difficulties he has endured over the years, and a testament to how God has been with him throughout.

“It’s more of a prayer to God, asking Him to protect me from all the bad in this world, from all the adversity I endure, to always come out and rise above the odds,” he says.

It was difficult to bring this project to completion, M’Kwamani says, because recording was done at different locations.

“We couldn’t work in our own vibes, together, and put ideas together the same way we did our first, second, and third projects because of the separation. I’m in Windhoek, and my colleague is in Grootfontein,” he says. – unWrap.online
