Luederitz remains ‘not new’

HUMAN skeletons recently discovered some 20 kilometres outside Luederitz, as reported by the New Era newspaper, are not new, says Karas Regional Crime Investigation Co-ordinator Chris Tjehiue.

Tjehiue told The Namibian that the human remains were first discovered in 1995 in the area where the old Douglas Diamond mine was located.
