POLICE are looking for a suspect accused of cutting the private parts of an eight-year-old girl and raping her at Satan Stocht farm in the Daan Viljoen area.
The incident happened on Friday after the 20-year-old man Gervin Gowanab was left in the care of two girls whom he allegedly threatened to harm. One of the girls escaped following the threat.
Gowanab allegedly got hold of the eight-year-old and attempted to rape her.
Police spokesperson Kauna Shikwambi said when Gowanab failed to penetrate her, he allegedly cut the girl’;s private parts and raped her.
The victim has been admitted to the Windhoek Central Hospital in a critical condition.
