Man dies in car crash

A 30-YEAR-OLD Namibian man identified as Camaron Mussoloni Britz died in a road accident after he lost control of the vehicle he was driving and collided with the bridge railings and fell over into the riverbed on Sunday evening.

This was confirmed by police chief inspector Sam Shilemba who said the accident happened at the Teufelsbach River bridge on the B1 road between Okahandja and Windhoek, around 23h30.

According to Shilemba, Britz was driving from Windhoek towards Okahandja in a white Volkswagen Golf GTI and lost control of the vehicle hitting a bridge rails and falling over, killing him instantly.
His next of kin have been informed of his death.
