In an article published on 1 December, titled ‘Swakop office-bearers election postponed after mayoral vote tie’, we wrote that Dina Namubes, having served for the past three years, was expected to pass the mayoral chain to Matthias Henrichsen. Although her party has held the mayoral position for three years, Namubes served in this position for a year and nine months. We regret the error and any inconvenience caused.
