Simply You Magazine has announced that MTC will be the main sponsor for the 2024 Simply You Magazine Lifestyle and Fashion Awards.
The awards are a celebration of Namibian creativity that has become a significant event in the local arts and fashion scene.
This marks the sixth edition of the awards, which recognise outstanding contributions to the creative industry.
Co-founder of Simply You Magazine, Helena Ngaifiwa, expressed gratitude for the support of various sponsors, including NBC, Focus FM, and several others.
She says these partnerships elevate the awards.
The awards have evolved into a vital showcase for talent, fostering collaboration and inspiring younger generations of artists.
The event not only honours established figures but also encourages industry cooperation, ensuring that the creative landscape in Namibia continues to thrive.
Scheduled for 26 October, at the National Theatre of Namibia, the awards night promises to be a fashion-forward event, themed ‘Circa 2080 Futuristic Fashion’.
Attendees, including 50 nominees across 12 categories, are expected to showcase striking, custom-designed outfits on the red carpet.
In addition to the fashion showcase, the awards will feature performances from Namibian artists such as Lioness and DJ Vuyo. The red carpet will kick off at 17h00, and tickets are available through Webtickets.
