Namcor mum on Mulunga’s reinstatement demand

Immanuel Mulunga

THE National Petroleum Corporation of Namibia (Namcor) has been quiet on its suspended managing director, Immanuel Mulunga, demanding to be reinstated.

Company spokesperson Paulo Coelho says the entity will not comment until investigations are concluded.

Mulunga on Tuesday sent the company’s board and the ministers of finance and of mines and energy a letter of demand, seeking his immediate reinstatement.

He threatened to proceed to the High Court should the company fail to reinstate him as managing director.
