Namibia Sport Fixtures

Volleyball tops this weekend’s sporting action, while there is also football, cricket and swimming amongst others.

The finals of the Bank Windhoek Volleyball NVF Cup take place at the Windhoek Showgrounds on Saturday. 

The action starts at 09h00 with the first men and women semifinals, followed by the second semis at 11h00. 

The women’s final is scheduled to take place at 15h00, to be followed by the men’s final at 17h00.

The Debmarine Namibia Premiership continues with matches in Windhoek, Rundu and Grootfontein. Blue Waters and Okahandja United travel to the capital to take on Civics and Tigers, while Khomas Nampol can replace FC Ongos at the top of the log, but they face two tough away matches against Okakarara Young Warriors and Julinho Sporting. 

The swimming long course swimming season starts with the first Bank Windhoek Gala at the Olympia pool, while Cricket Namibia’sT20 Premier League continues with matches at Wanderers.

The MTC Hopsol Youth Football League is nearing completion, with knockout matches taking place at various venues in Windhoek.
