Namibia Sport Fixtures

A bumper weekend of sport lies in store with football, cricket, athletics and basketball topping the list. 

The Debmarine Namibia Premiership continues with numerous matches throughout Namibia. 

Khomas Nampol went to the top of the log after beating Orlando Pirates 2-1 last night, but they face a tough test against defending champions African Stars at Windhoek’s Independence Stadium on Sunday. 

In action at 17h00 today, Unam take on Okahandja United at the Unam Stadium, while several more matches take place on Saturday and Sunday. 

The FNB Women Super League also continues with matches in Windhoek and Oshakati, with the pick of the bunch, the top of the log clash between FC Ongos and Khomas Nampol at the NFA Centre at 11h00 on Saturday.

The second leg of the Pupkewitz Athletics Grand Prix takes place at Windhoek’s Independence Stadium on Saturday, starting at 16h00, while the Cricket Premier League continues with matches at the Wanderers field on Saturday and Sunday. 

The semifinals and finals of the FNB 5-on-5 Basketball League also take place at the Unam Gym today and tomorrow.
