Namibian Football is Back, Bigger and Better

First and foremost, Mobile Telecommunications Limited (MTC Namibia) must be congratulated for being the heart of sport development in our country, and in particular of football (soccer).

Also, gratitude must be extended to the national broadcaster (NBC TV) for broadcasting soccer live on NBC 2.

Football fans and followers are found in all four corners of the country and for them to be able to watch the beautiful game of football, no matter where they find themselves, is good news.

Namibian football has always been beautiful and entertaining, leaving fans with only one thing to ask for: more and more football. Starting from the lower division leagues, including ‘bush soccer’, our football is loveable and enjoyable.

The recently ended round of 16 MTC Maris Cup matches again displayed good quality entertaining football, again worth watching. With the Namibia Premier Football League already bringing excitement, tears of joy and sadness, the players, coaches and all supporting staff must be thanked for keeping the beautiful game of football well and alive in Namibia.

With that said, corporates and other would-be investors are encouraged to also come on board and see some available opportunities in the vast array of sport in Namibia.
