Voting campaigns for Miss Universe Namibia Prisca Anyolo and Miss Earth Namibia Albertina Haimbala are in full swing.
This in an effort to secure high placements for both queens in their respective pageants.
Miss Namibia director Umbi Karuaihe-Upi urges: “Please, Namibians, vote for our girls.”
Haimbala has captivated audiences by advocating eco-tourism and environmental awareness. Namibians can help her secure a top-20 position in the Miss People’s Choice category.
Members of the public can vote for her on the Miss Earth voting page.
The competition, themed ‘Heritage’, is underway in the Philippines, with the grand finale set for 9 November.
This year’s pageant showcases both the natural heritage of the Philippines and other participating countries.
Meanwhile, Anyolo is competing to secure her place in the semi-finals of the 73rd Miss Universe pageant in Mexico City on 16 November.
To vote for Prisca, Namibians can visit the Miss Universe voting page or scan the QR code available on her social media pages.
Campaigns led by community members, like make-up artist Renate Shikongo, have raised funds for bulk voting to boost Namibia’s visibility in the pageants.
