Nedbank Namibia has opened a new in-store agency at Mariental in the Hardap region.
Nedbank Namibia’s spokesperson, Selma Kaulinge, says: “We saw an opportunity, and we ensured that we bring our much-needed services to Mariental, so we can reach more of our clients by providing them with the world-class service Nedbank Namibia delivers in all our engagements.”
She says the agency symbolises that Nedbank Namibia will always be there for people to make better money choices.
The agency, which was officially opened on 21 July, is housed inside the town’s Woermann & Brock Supermarket, and will have four staff members offering sales and enquiry services to Mariental residents.
The recent official opening was graced by Mariental mayor Cherien Kock, and members of Nedbank Namibia’s leadership, including the area manager of the central, coastal and southern regions, Nicholas Christians, the head of personal loans, Erastus Haihambo, Nedbank Namibia’s head of marketing and communications, Gernot de Klerk, and members of the Mariental business community.
The Nedbank team has donated N$10 000 to Johan Eiman from the VGK Sopkombuis Mariental charity to contribute to the community.
The agency’s operating hours will be in line with those of the Mariental Woermann & Brock Supermarket.
