BANK Windhoek has announced the appointment of Gerson Phiri as branch manager for its Rundu branch with effect 1 January 2016.
Phiri succeeds Anette Durand, who retires on 31 December 2015.
Phiri holds a Diploma in Practical Accounting and has made significant progress in his banking career, since joining Standard Bank in 2001.
He joined Bank Windhoek in July as a seasoned banker with good branch management experience and was taken on board on the Advanced Talent Programme as branch manager.
“We wish Gerson success with his new responsibilities,” said Linus Gwala, executive officer for human resources at Bank Windhoek.
