New Year’s Eve bash in Windhoek tonight

RESIDENTS of Windhoek should be ready to say goodbye to the year 2014 in style at the annual New Year’s Eve bash Wednesday night, said City of Windhoek (CoW) Public Relations Officer Lydia Amutenya.

She told Nampa this week that the celebration will take place at the municipal parking area in Independence Avenue, between Sam Nujoma and Garten streets.

The event kicks off from 18h00 till late, and is free to all members of the public.

Artist that should be expected to perform at the bash are 4×4 Too Much Power, D J Kboz ,Stefan Ludik, Etondo, T-Boz and Staika, Raxa, MBM, Set-son and the Mighty Dreads, The Dogg, Tate Buti, Xclusive Dance Crew and many more.

The event is organised by the City of Windhoek and the Namibia Breweries Limited’s (NBL) Tafel Lager brand.

Amutenya said no own drinks, own fireworks and weapons will be allowed at the event.
